01 ︎︎︎ Black&White Magazine

From its first issue, Black&White was welcomed by the photographic community and soon became the ultimate resource for connoisseurs and collectors of black and white fine-art photography.

One of Black&White’s strongest suits is that it’s inclusiveness and accessibility provide emerging photographers with the possibility of self-promotion as well as with exposure to fellow contemporaries’ work.

Beyond this well-established audience, Black&White appeals to younger crowds who grow increasingly interested in analog  photographic processes as a means of finding refuge from digital medias.

For this reason, my aim while redesigning Black&White was to establish an aesthetic that was cleaner, more emphatic of featured photography, and more modern than the previous — which I hoped would both honor the interests of senior subscribers and attract new ones.
